If you have questions about the techniques we use for creating images on glass, please contact us.
We are committed to providing the highest quality decorative glass solutions in the industry.

|
1. We can work from a crisp black an white drawing or sharp photograph. If we are not matching a customer's design, we can supply artwork from out extensive collection of antique designs.
2. We scan the design to create a computer graphic file. Once in the computer, we can adjust size, move elements around and clean up any sections that are not crisp enough to reproduce.
3. Next step is to computer plot a stencil on vinly resist film. After the pattern is cut in the film it is applied to the glass surface; the areas where the glass will be etched are removed. Where the glass is exposed (black), the sandblaster will etch the surface of the glass.
4. The finished image successfull reproduced on the surface of the glass.

At left is example design for a etched panel with a glue chip surrounding border. It illustrates how we can adjust a design in the computer to exactly fit a opening size. This is the perfect solution for restorations and replacements where a panel must fit into an old door or window and match the style of the original.
